I'm very happy today, you know why????? Because today Alex smsed us and asked the cell if we wanna play basketball today at Katib. At first I thought, oh man so far!, but after a little consideration and of course with my plan to get closer to the cell group, I decided to just go for it lah...
Turns out there's so many people that went! we could play like 5v4, played 3 games lost 2 haha, I seemed to be always paired with my cell leader Gershon, dont know why. Anyway, although we lost 2 games, it was very fun! Firstly because its a super long time since I played basketball with friends. I really missed the feeling. There was alot of laughter and "proness" on display haha!
I realized there's some very funny people in my cell. I dont know why when I see them I just feel like smiling inside myself haha, they seem to have that very happy feeling. Yeap, and I must say through this I've gotten to know them better. There was also this girl who came, and she was an ex bballer, and my gosh she scored many 3 pters! I was simply amazed because she had sort of a small frame.
Yuxin also brought her 2 friends along, and they were pro man! just that I think they just met us so they only showed us glimpses of their proness haha! maybe there's more to come! they could do stunts like bringing the ball one round around your back and stuff. So cool man! and they are girls!
First time in a long time I perspire so much, and its also the first time I play basketball with majority girls and yet its still quite active and challenging! haha no hidden meaning ok. Those girls playing today were simply AWESOME!
I MISS BASKETBALL! but the good thing is next week they will be playing again!!! WOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
